Dean of Students

Ms. Perkins hails from Buffalo, NY and has 5 beautiful children! She has always had a passion for teaching and working with teenagers specifically. She received her Bachelors in Math, as well as her Master of Education degree from VCU and has been teaching since 2004. After moving up to department chair and becoming the first middle school math coach in Henrico County, she found her true calling in trauma-informed care.

She is so happy to be at a non-profit small school where our main focus is on helping our students thrive in their education and lives! In her free time, she is an avid Buffalo Bills fan, loves reality shows, is a big reader, and loves to spend time with her kids!

Her favorite book is “The Time Keeper” by Mitch Albom and her favorite movie is “Can't Buy Me Love”.
